Patrik Sjöberg’s Bad-Ass Mullet!
March 18, 2011Posted by on
The legendary Patrik Sjöberg used to sport one of the meanest mullets in athletics. The Swede once held the high jump world record of 2.42m, before Javier Sotomayor broke it a year later. Sjöberg set the world record in front of his home crowd in Stockholm in 1987.
Watching the clip of his record-setting leap and hearing the wild cheers of the passionate Swedish crowd brought goosebumps. As soon as he landed on the mat, Sjöberg made an equally impassioned guts pose in celebration, as his bad-ass mullet bounced up and down!
