Spooks: The Best Show Ever
September 21, 2010Posted by on
It took a few episodes before I became hooked to the British spy series, Spooks. I devoured 8 full seasons of the award-winning show in three months. American TV shows like Heroes and Fringe pale in comparison to thick, high-stakes drama about the MI-5. The British plot was a lot more convincing, the actors – realistic and sincere in their portrayal of ordinary men and women thrust into the service of the crown.
Having read stacks of Jack Higgins, Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum novels, Spooks was seemingly tailor-made to my specifications. Spooks became my new benchmark for a good show.
With Spooks rumored to be at its final season, the upcoming episodes are expected to every bit as gripping as before – and more.
